Jamie Ferri is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate work in Psychology at UCSC. Jamie earned her MA in Psychology and PhD in Integrative Neuroscience from Stony Brook University where she worked with Drs. Turhan Canli and Greg Hajcak using event-related brain potentials (ERPs), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and eye-tracking to study emotion and cognition in healthy adults and adolescents. Jamie is currently interested in applying her neuroscience background to better understand the neural mechanisms associated with the pathophysiology and treatment of affective disorders.
