Julianne Ammirati earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Yale University, where she completed her thesis "Perceptual Deficits in the Visual Search Patterns of Individuals with Schizophrenia" under the direction of Dr. Deepak Cyril D'Souza and Dr. Elisa Dias. She has spent time interning at the Nathan Kline Institute in Orangeburg, New York, where she programmed a battery of eyetracking tasks to examine early visual processing in individuals with Schizophrenia. As part of her work in Drs. Ford and Mathalon's lab, she coordinates and runs MRI and EEG studies, maintains databases, and conducts clinical assessments. After working in research, she hopes to attend medical school.
